Photoshop
I am up to date with the latest version of Photoshop, CS3. I can work for the web or for printing as well. Going from simple tasks such as resizing and optimising images/photos for the web, to more sophisticated ones like corrections or adjustments, restorations, or, simply, applying effects that can give a "dull" or "average" photo a totally new and different meaning. For more information about my services with Photoshop or any other queries, do not hesitate to contact me.
Below, you can see a selection of alterations I have made to some photographs. Please hover over the images to magnify them.
- I really like the lass from Wales, great singer and witty. Although we would all probably agree that she is "all a woman" as she is, I always thought that a few less pounds would make her good. So, I took the liberty of giving her a new slightly trimmed on the side shape, while, of course, keeping those lovely curves she was blessed with. Hope you don't mind, Charlotte...
- I have always admired Dame Helen Mirren. I took this photo and I did a little job to remove some of the wrinkles under her eyes and a tiny bit from her cheeks, just for the benefit of my exercise. In all honesty, I think she looks better as she really is. Ageing can be, and she proves it, something beautiful.
- Beautiful photos can be altered to blend with the background or just to get a totally new effect from them. Here, the original (on the left) sits better on this background, but I think the point of how the photo's general colour can be changed comes through. Of course, you can change it to just about any color, not just this one on the right.
This slideshow on the right uses JavaScript in order to keep swapping the photos.
This is just a small sample of some of the things that Photoshop can do. Also, if you want to see some more cool altered photos or images applied to Web design, please check out my Portfolio page. It features some background images used as backgrounds for Web pages, and inserted using CSS. These can also be inserted as "fixed" backgrounds, giving a whole new effect.
I will keep adding new samples in this near future, so I would like to invite you to keep checking this page if you have found it interesting.
- Looking for some papers a while ago, I was horrified to find our long lost photograph of my son (at the front below) and my daughter (smiling behind) that grandad took in black&white a few years back - and the one I always considered a master piece - with a few creases and ripped open just above my son's lip (photo left - scanned from the original). Oh my god!!! How immature and irresponsible can I be??? How could I ever allow this to happen???
Anyways, before trouble could develop any further, that is before mum found out, I rushed to my beloved Photoshop in a desperate attempt to amend the wrongs and so avoid a, let's say, potentially "hellish" situation.

- I could not make up my mind about who I thought prettier...uhmmm...Kelly?... Penny?...Alesha perhaps?...
